San Ramon Farmers Market Celebrates 20 Years
Founded in 2006 by Harvindar Singh, the San Ramon Farmers Market has spent two decades connecting the San Ramon community with local farmers, food artisans and small businesses.
The market began at San Ramon’s historic Forest Home Farms before moving to Bishop Ranch in 2011. As development of City Center Bishop Ranch transformed the area, the market evolved with it, ultimately relaunching at City Center in 2019 with a renewed focus on exceptional local growers, artisan food producers, diverse prepared foods, live music and community gathering.
Today, the market brings together more than 70 local growers, artisan food producers and small businesses each Saturday at City Center Bishop Ranch.
On Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 AM, the San Ramon Farmers Market will commemorate its 20th anniversary with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at City Center Bishop Ranch, together with the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce and City Center Bishop Ranch.
The celebration honors 20 years of farmers, vendors, partners and community members who have helped make the market what it is today—and looks ahead to its next chapter in San Ramon.
